Product Description
Eastman EEP Solvent (Ethyl 3-Ethoxypropionate) is a slow evaporating ether-ester with excellent solvency for a wide range of coating polymers. The ether-ester groups, the linear structure, and the propionyl group in the center of the molecule give this material a combination of desirable properties not found in other solvents. These include a slow evaporation rate, good resistance to solvent popping in baking applications, high solvency for a wide range of polymers, low solution viscosity for its evaporation rate, excellent solvent release from coating films, and excellent flow and leveling with a wide range of coatings. Eastman EEP Solvent has a moderate odor, low surface tension, and high electrical resistance. This is one of many Eastman solvents that can be used to replace the ExxonMobil¡¯s discontinued Exxate solvents.

Eastman EEP Solvent (Ethyl 3-Ethoxypropionate) is an Eastman Performance Solvent.
