Product Description
Eastman EB Acetate (ethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate) is a high boiling glycol ether-ester. Its slow evaporation rate provides flow and leveling in high-bake coatings as well as air-dry systems such as epoxy coatings. It has limited water miscibility. It is supplied as a urethane grade solvent. Information provided in the MSDS should be carefully considered before using EB Acetate in cosmetics and personal care products. The INCI (cosmetic ingredient) name for Eastman EB Acetate is Butoxyethyl Acetate. This is one of many Eastman solvents that can be used to replace the ExxonMobil¡¯s discontinued Exxate solvents.

Eastman EB Acetate (Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether Acetate) is an Eastman Performance Solvent.
